Our Place Management Director, Matthew John yesterday attended ASEL's high-profile gathering, 'Fighting Retail Crime: A New Approach,' on HMS Belfast in London.
The event was hosted by Matthew Barber, Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner, and featured distinguished speakers including Lord John Stevens (former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police) and John Allan (former CEO of Tesco).
The event provided an in-depth presentation on the current state of retail crime and its scale, followed by engaging round table discussions and a panel discussion led by Lord Stevens. It was an invaluable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, discuss pressing issues, and explore collaborative solutions to enhance retail security.
Thank you to all the organisers and participants for such a productive and enlightening day. Matthew has emerged from the event with insights gleaned from these discussions, which can guide and influence our efforts in addressing retail crime in Milton Keynes.
