We are thrilled to announce that MyMiltonKeynes has been awarded MK Business of the Year at the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2025. This prestigious recognition highlights the dedication, innovation, and impact of our work in Milton Keynes over the past year.


2024 has been a transformational year for MyMiltonKeynes as we have been delivering against our Refreshed Business Plan 2024-27. This award is a reflection of the hard work our team has put into making real, improvements for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

  • Annual survey of levy payers (Jan 24)

  • CEO e-updates (Jan 24

  • Annual Board Away Day (Feb 24)

  • Appointment of a Marketing Director (Mar 24)

  • City centre litter pick days (Mar 24)

  • Took over the administration of Milton Keynes Barwatch (Mar 24)

  • Public Realm improvements (previously only landscaping service) (Apr 24)

  • Introduced the Real Living Wage (May 24)

  • New MyMiltonKeynes.co.uk corporate website built in-house (May 24)

  • Launched the Refreshed Business Plan 2024-27 (June 24)

  • Introduced My Local Bobby private security team (Jun 24)

  • Created a new visual identify for City Centre & MyMK (Sept 24)

  • Launched the My—MK City Centre consumer website (Sep 24)

  • Launched City Centre Monthly Insights Reports for businesses (Sep 24)

  • Introduced a quarterly business magazine (Sept 24)

  • Introduced the BID Radio scheme (Oct 24)

  • Funded an additional £20k of festive lighting in City Centre (Nov 24)

  • Hosted the annual Christmas lights switch-on in new location, delivered in-house (Nov 24)

  • Hosted Purple Tuesday event & activation with City Centre partners (Nov 24)

  • Launched City Centre Gift Card (Dec 24)

  • Provided businesses with Purple 365 accessibility training platform (Dec 24)
