City Centre Gift Card
We are very excited to be introducing the MyMK Gift Card. Launched to businesses on 19th September, the gift card will go on sale to members of the public via our new consumer website mymk.cc.
All City Centre businesses that pay a BID levy or a voluntary fee are eligible to join this scheme. Payments are processed in the same way as Mastercard debit card transaction.
The card will serve as a powerful marketing tool, enabling us to create engaging campaigns to help increase footfall, boost spend and raise the profile of Milton Keynes City Centre as a destination.
FAQs
How do I sign up?
Please download and complete the Gift Card acceptance form and either email it to us at info@mymiltonkeynes.co.uk or give us a ring and we can come and collect it from you: 01908 395099. We will then come along with a test card to perform a declined transaction on your till. The information collected via the swipe will then register your merchant ID number on our system.
What if we don’t have the swipe function on our till?
Not a problem. Let us know when you return your form. You won’t be able to accept the physical gift card, but you will still be able to accept the e-card which will be activated by customers via the Apple / Google pay mechanisms.
What are the benefits of signing up?
By signing up your business will benefit from the extensive marketing that we carry out throughout the year to promote the card. The Gift Card scheme is designed to lock in spend in Milton Keynes City Centre and promote the range of businesses we have here.
