AccessAble Survey
We have partnered with AccessAble to commission a City Centre-wide accessibility survey. The findings will inform the creation of detailed Access Guides for key areas within Milton Keynes City Centre: Xscape, The Hub, centre:mk, and Midsummer Place. They will highlight essential accessibility features like Changing Places toilets, accessible parking, and pedestrian-friendly crossings. The guides will also be integrated into the mymk.cc website and updated annually, empowering residents and visitors with reliable, in-depth information on navigating the City according to their unique accessibility needs.
MK Umbrella Project
In 2025 we’re delighted to be bringing this stand-out display of colour to Milton Keynes where it will be showcased in Midsummer Place. In celebration of Neurodiversity, these are our project’s aims: To Educate – through providing more knowledge, myth-busting and sharing lived experiences To Advocate – by reframing perspective and shifting the narrative to acceptance and support To Celebrate – by shining a light on strengths and the positives of difference.
